About us

We are an international German school that teaches according to three national curricula:

1. the German school curriculum and
2. the Anglophone and
3. Francophone

Cameroonian curriculum.

GIS Yaounde teaches according to the immersion principle, alternating between German, English and French.

GIS Yaounde is currently the only school in the Central African Region that has integrated German into its curriculum as a language of instruction. With this school project, we would like to contribute to meeting the high demand for German as a foreign language.
